About “The Hardline”

The Hardline and all that implies has been an afternoon drive radio constant in Dallas Ft Worth since the 90s. It’s the four most controversial, hard hitting, in your face must-hear hours of radio to be found anywhere. They tell it like it is, and they tell it to your face.

Hardline #3to7 debuted in early 2020 with Corby Davidson, “the Snake”, radio’s most abrasive, over the top personality, now joined in Afternoon Drive by Bob Sturm. Sturm was the Ticket’s long-time co-host of 12n-3pm. His depth of knowledge on the Cowboys is second to none in the Metroplex media. Together, Snake and Bob put forth hot sports opinions on the Cowboys, the NFL, College Football, the Mavericks, and whatever else they find interesting. Sometimes those opinions are even thought out in advance. No one is above challenge–no coach, player, caller, not even each other. And along the way, they manage a lot of laughs and fun.

Then in June of 2022, The Hardline evolved once again, for the 5th time. Familiar to longtime P1s as “Gen X Davey,” Dave Lane is the latest addition to the Hardline with Bob Sturm and Corby Davidson.

Most recently a frequent fill-in host and DJ of the annual “Ticket 80s Prom,” Dave has an extensive Ticket history that goes all the way back to the station’s early days.

During the original incarnation of “The Hardline” featuring Mike Rhyner and Greg Williams, Dave had stints both behind the board and in the Ticket Ticker booth. Later, he joined forces with Gordon Keith and Corby Davidson on the legendary Saturday show “The Rant.”

Now it has all come full circle as Gen X Davey returns to the Hardline for The Hardline 5.0
