Keeping The Little Ticket Alive
For years, P1s have quietly been doing the Lord’s work—recording, saving, and archiving the greatness that is The Little Ticket. From Gordo’s beautiful chaos and Jub’s steady wisdom to Corby’s legendary segues and Danny’s perfectly timed music beds, these moments deserve more than a one-day shelf life.
At the same time, plenty of P1s want to record clips but don’t know where to start. That’s what this page is for: helping new contributors jump in and giving any P1 a straightforward way to save their favorite Ticket moments.
Got a favorite show?
Musers loyalist. Hardline die-hard. Midday grinder. Weekend warrior.
If you want to help, email Unc@P1Clips.com and let me know which show you’d like to cover. I’ll walk you through everything from there—no IT degree required, and no need to understand “Norm math.”
Recording
uSave.it is the easiest option. It records shows daily and weekly, making it simple to grab full segments.
Already have your own setup? That works too. Clean audio is all that matters.
Editing
Audacity is the gold standard.
Open your audio file, trim the segment you want (a classic E-Brake, an all-timer call, a moment that made you pull over), and export it.
If you’re feeling ambitious, you can add fades or filters—Danny-style.
Audacity’s site has quick guides if you need a hand.
Because this stuff matters.
Every drop. Every bit. Every confused call-in that somehow becomes radio gold.
Even if you’re just learning to record for yourself, this page should help you get started. And if P1Clips ever really takes off and brings in a few bucks, contributors will absolutely get their fair share.
That’s how it’s always been done.
